Job Description
Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Environmental Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients in the environmental consulting industry. The Environmental Supervisor will be responsible for leading field-based programs, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and supporting data management and report preparation under the guidance of a Senior Environmental Specialist. This role is heavily field-focused, supporting remediation, reclamation, or natural sciences projects throughout Northeast British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field programs related to site investigations, remediation, reclamation, and natural sciences in compliance with regulatory requirements and established procedures.
- Support the preparation of technical reports and project proposals.
- Assist in developing scopes of work and preparing cost estimates.
- Follow all client-specific and company health and safety standards.
- Ensure assigned tasks and project deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Meet billable utilization targets set by leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships by delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Take on additional duties as required to support project success.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree (minimum 2 years) in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of field experience in Northeast BC, with exposure to remediation, reclamation, or natural sciences projects.
- Progress toward a recognized professional designation in BC (e.g., P.Ag., P.Geo.) is considered an asset.
- Experience preparing technical reports.
- Familiarity with BCER regulatory guidelines is an advantage.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in remote locations, including in varying and sometimes challenging weather conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices.

Salary & Other Info
Pay: CA$30.00 - CA$37.00 per hour
