We are currently hiring a Senior Estimator on behalf of one of our valued clients.
About the Role
As a Senior Estimator, you’ll be the backbone of the pre-construction process - turning complex project visions into accurate cost realities and securing winning bids through expert planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving options
- Support bid strategy and tender submissions
- Participate in value engineering discussions
- Assist with project handoff to operations
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in construction estimating
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial construction
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Salary & Other Information
Pay: CA$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
