We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Operations Coordinator for our client, a prominent organization committed to operational excellence and safety. This position is crucial in managing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and compliance within the Operations & Safety teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Subcontractor Management Program, ensuring compliance with liability insurance and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) regulations.
• Coordinate safety training for employees, ensuring all staff stay up-to-date with safety protocols using compliance platforms like ISN and Comply Works.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding processes for field personnel, ensuring compliance with requirements such as Workhub and Site Docs.
• Support annual vehicle inspections, manage insurance renewals, and track maintenance records for the fleet of trucks and equipment.
• Handle the procurement of parts and supplies for vehicle maintenance and assist with asset tracking to ensure all equipment is logged and signed out accurately.
• Compile project documentation, including obtaining necessary permits for lowbed trucks and completing annual equipment hire forms for clients, such as those requested by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTi) and BC Wildfire.
• Provide cross-training for other administrative positions within the office to facilitate holiday coverage and ensure team continuity.
