✨1st Cook - Experienced Cook to lead our Kitchen team w/5+ years of experience in Western-style meal preparations, menu creation and a passion for providing nutritious home-style meals for seniors, while focusing on nutrition presentation and creativity.✨
💵 Starting Wage $27.00/hr📅 Shift - 5 days/Week 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Some weekends & holidays)

🚩NOTE: All submitted resumes must be accompanied by a recent RCMP Criminal Record Check.

Duties:
• Daily production of lunch and light supper, including soups, desserts & baking
cooked from scratch
• Service of meals
• Cleaning of the Kitchen
• Menu preparation suitable for seniors
• Food cost budgeting
• Ordering of Food/Supplies
• Supervision & training of assistants
• Strict compliance with rigorous health & safety protocols

Qualification/Experience:
• 5+ years experience and/or training in Western Style cooking
• Able to create nutritious menus for seniors, while maintaining to budgetary
requirements
• Experience with food orders and tracking of inventory
• Food Safe Level 1 certificate required
• Must be able to lead/train a team of 2-6 people

2nd Cook

✨2nd Cook - Experienced Cook - Starting Wage $24.00/hr✨
📅 Shift - 2 days/Week 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Some weekends & holidays)

Duties:
• Daily production of lunch and light supper, including soups, desserts & baking
cooked from scratch
• Service of meals
• Cleaning of the Kitchen
• Some supervision of assistants
• Strict compliance with rigorous health & safety protocols
 
Qualification/Experience:
• 2+ years experience and/or training in Western Style cooking
• Food Safe Level 1 certificate required
 
*Note: Scheduling could allow this position to be combined with a Cook's Helper or Service Position

Cooks' Helper/Service

✨Cooks’ Helper/Service - Starting Wage $19.00/hr✨
📅 Shift - 5 days/Week 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Some weekends & holidays)
🚩NOTE: All submitted resumes must be accompanied by a recent RCMP Criminal Record Check.
Duties:
• Assist cook with daily production of lunch and light supper, including soups,
desserts & baking cooked from scratch
• Service of meals
• Cleaning & sanitizing of the Kitchen
• Must be able to work alone at time, as well as supervise a helper
• Strict compliance with rigorous health & safety protocols
 
Qualification/Experience:
• Food Safe Level 1 certificate required
 
*Note - Scheduling could allow this position to be combined with the 2nd Cook position depending on experience.

Service Staff

✨Service Staff - Starting Wage $18.00/hr✨
📅 Shift - 5 days/Week 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Some weekends & holidays)
🚩NOTE: All submitted resumes must be accompanied by a recent RCMP Criminal Record Check.
Duties:
• 15 hrs per week
• Perfect hours for a student or retired person
• Setting up of service area
• Serving Supper
• Cleaning/Sanitizing of the Kitchen, Dining Room and Service Areas - including
dishes, running a commercial dishwasher, garbage, floors and work surfaces
• Must be responsible to work alone at times and unsupervised
• Strict compliance with rigorous health & safety protocols
 
Qualification/Experience:
• Food Safe Level 1 certificate required
