At Macenna, we specialize in connecting top talent with leading companies. We are currently seeking an energetic and qualified Materials Management/Warehouse Coordinator for our client, who focuses on supporting field operations and maintenance teams in NE British Columbia.

The Role:
In this role, the selected candidate will play a vital part in establishing an effective materials management program aimed at streamlining operations and maintenance efforts. You will primarily work in a warehouse environment, with some travel to additional material staging sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with teams in Supply Chain, Operations, and Maintenance to oversee the receipt, storage, staging, delivery, and disposal of materials and equipment.
• Recognize and analyze opportunities to improve the efficiency of materials handling and logistics to better support operational and maintenance initiatives.
• Manage scheduling for procurement and allocation of materials and equipment, aligning with delivery timelines and lead times.
• Ensure timely communication regarding material statuses and outstanding purchase orders, including expeditions, tracking, and returns, in conjunction with internal teams and suppliers.
• Uphold accurate inventory records and maintain the organization of stock in controlled warehouse spaces.
• Facilitate year-end inventory assessments and conduct regular cycle counts as necessary.
• Promote a safe and secure working environment, prioritizing the safety of personnel and maintaining strict control over materials and equipment.
