About the Role
The Health & Safety Manager will champion safe work practices, support field operations, and help shape a strong safety culture across daily activities. This position is hands‑on, collaborative, and ideal for someone who excels at building trust and communicating with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure health and safety programs comply with all provincial regulations.
• Support site teams in meeting Prime Contractor responsibilities and ensure staff understand their obligations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across camp and field operations.
• Provide safety guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and partners.
• Lead FLHAs, hazard assessments, inspections, COR audits, and incident investigations.
• Review accident reports and follow through on corrective actions.
• Work with clients during safety audits and collaborate on improvement strategies.
• Develop and deliver safety and emergency‑response training sessions.
• Coach employees and supervisors with a “here’s how to do it safely” approach.
• Maintain accurate safety logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Lead and manage the Bistrainer Safety Software System for field operations.
• Support camp maintenance personnel to ensure all required safety‑related repairs and documentation are completed.
