Position Overview:

The Yardman position is crucial to maintaining the appearance and operational efficiency of our client’s facility. As the first point of contact for many customers, the Yardman plays a vital role in creating a positive impression of the business. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.

 Responsibilities:

• Complete daily tank/physical dip readings for inventory, including electronic printouts and barrel dock readings.
• Conduct weekly water testing on fuel storage tanks and maintain accurate records.
• Receive fuel shipments, verifying volumes delivered.
• Receive and organize lubricant inventory, ensuring accurate levels.
• Prepare orders for shipment using equipment such as a bobcat, loader, picker, or forklift.
• Maintain used oil tank inventory and assist with removal by environmental vendor.
• Ensure the cleanliness of fuel dispensers, the lot, and the administration building.
• Perform immediate removal of snow, ice, mud, trash, and other hazardous debris.
• Dispense fuel for customers at the barrel dock and cardlock dispensers, providing exceptional customer service.
• Write up tickets for customer purchases.
• Duties are not limited to the above and may require additional tasks be assigned as needed.
