Macenna Staffing Services is currently seeking candidates interested in temporary receptionist work to cover a couple of short-term leaves in December and February.
Responsibilities for these positions may include:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide information to callers and visitors regarding the company and its services
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
