Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist will provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Job may include, but is not limited to:

  • Answering the phone and directing calls
  • Typing, sorting and filing
  • Greeting and directing clients and visitors
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Incoming and outgoing mail
  • Verifying compliance with the company purchasing and payables procedure
  • Match valid PO's to the supplier invoice and post the supplier invoice in the payable system
  • Respond and assist with vendor inquiries
  • Manage a high volume of supplier invoices

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Business or Administrative Office Diploma is an asset
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision
  • Pleasant and patient telephone manner
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Basic accounting experience

 

Salary Information

$22 - $25/hr

Job Type

Fulltime Permanent
